Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what data FolioSort collects (spoiler: almost none) and how the website and payment processing work.

The App — Zero Data Collection

FolioSort does not collect any personal data. There is no telemetry, no analytics, and no data is sent to any server.

All file processing — organizing, renaming, checksum verification — happens entirely on your Mac. Your files never leave your computer.

Reverse geocoding (GPS to city/country names) uses Apple's built-in CLGeocoder service, which is processed through Apple's systems. No GPS data is sent to third-party servers.

The Website — Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral sources.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by using a browser with built-in tracking protection.

Payments

Payments for FolioSort Pro are processed by our payment processor, which acts as the Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, the payment processor collects the information necessary to process your transaction (name, email, payment details).

We do not have access to your full payment details.
